Comedian Trevor Noah has been announced as the host for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
This will mark the fifth consecutive year that the South African comedian will take on the hosting duties, having first hosted the event in 2021.
The 2025 Grammys will take place on Sunday, February 2, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+.
The Nigerian music scene is well-represented at the 2025 Grammys, with Afrobeats stars dominating the African Song Performance category.
Leading the Nigerian presence is Tems, who has earned three nominations: Best Global Album for her debut LP Born In The Wild, Best African Song Performance, and a groundbreaking nomination for Best R&B Performance with her track Burning.
Hitmaker Rema is looking to secure his first Grammy win with his nomination for Best Global Album for his sophomore album HEIS.
Other Nigerian nominees include Yemi Alade, who receives her first-ever nomination for Best African Song Performance, and Lojay, who earns his first nod for his collaboration with Davido on Chris Brownβs Sensational.
Asake also picks up his second nomination for Best African Song Performance with MMS, featuring Wizkid. Grammy winner Burna Boy racks up a historic 10th nomination for Higher in the Nigerian-dominated category.
The 66th Grammys were a tough blow for the Nigerian contingent, as they lost the inaugural African Song Performance category to South African artist Tyla.
