Lil Baby’s latest album, WHAM (an acronym for “Who Hard As Me”), has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his fourth chart-topping album.
Released on January 3, 2025, WHAM achieved impressive first-week sales, earning 140,000 equivalent album units. This total includes 90,000 streaming equivalent album units, equating to 119.77 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs, and 50,000 in pure album sales.
The 15-track album features collaborations with prominent artists such as Young Thug, Future, GloRilla, Rylo Rodriguez, Rod Wave, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage. Notably, the track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” includes a verse from Young Thug, marking his first appearance since his release from prison.
In addition to its commercial success, WHAM has received positive critical reception. Clash’s Robin Murray described the album as “eclectic and uniquely defined,” highlighting Lil Baby’s versatility and effective trap-leaning sound.
To further promote the album, Lil Baby released a music video for the track “By Myself,” featuring Rod Wave and Rylo Rodriguez. Directed by Nyce, the video showcases the trio reflecting on their journey to success.
WHAM is available for streaming on major platforms, and Lil Baby has also released an extended version of the album, featuring additional tracks, to further engage his audience.
