Grammy-nominated superstar Asake has been recognized as the best-selling artist in Nigeria for 2024.

According to TurnTable, Nigeria’s leading music chart publication, Asake received more recognition across streaming platforms, TV, and radio than any other artist throughout the year.

This marks Asake’s third consecutive year as the No. 1 artist, making him the first to achieve this remarkable feat.

In 2024, all of Asake’s releases, including his albums Mr Money With The Vibe (MMWTV) and Work Of Art, dominated the charts, with Lungu Boy spending an impressive 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Official Top 100 Albums chart.

The hitmaker’s dominance is marked by his third album ‘Lungu Boy’ which finished as the best-selling album of the year despite only being released in August.

Asake is also 2024’s No. 1 radio artist, bagging the lead for the second time in a row. He also finished the year with the highest total chart points on the Official Nigeria Top 100 chart this year.Asake’s “MMS” featuring Wizkid, from his third album Lungu Boy, has been crowned the No. 1 Afro-R&B song on the Year-End chart. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 chart, where it held the top spot for three consecutive weeks.

Asake concluded the year as the No. 1 artist on Apple Music, with Lungu Boy also finishing as the top album on the platform.

On Audiomack, Lungu Boy claimed the title of the leading album, while Asake topped YouTube as the No. 1 artist.
