An excited fan had his day—and his phone—ruined after attempting to record his celebrity idol, OdumoduBlvck. The incident took place at a recent event where the controversial rapper was with his crew.
The unidentified male fan, upon spotting his idol, eagerly raised his phone to capture what he hoped would be a memorable moment. While the moment did indeed become unforgettable, it unfolded in a way he didn’t expect.
The ‘Wotowoto Seasoning’ hitmaker kicked the phone out of the fan’s hand before it crashed to the ground, preventing any footage from being captured.
Since the video of the incident surfaced on social media, fans and critics have expressed their disappointment and anger over the rapper’s actions.
A user on X (formerly Twitter), who believes celebrities should expect to be filmed, commented:
“Naija celebs. If you don’t want to be seen, stay in your house. There’s no reason on earth why he should be doing this.”
Another user recalled OdumoduBlvck’s earlier experience at Lagos State University (LASU) with Bella Shmurda, adding:
“Forming hard guy now, we remember how he ran like a scared chicken at LASU that year.”
One upset observer criticized the rapper for his aggressive behavior:
“This is ridiculous. As a public figure, there’s an unspoken responsibility to interact with fans gracefully, even when they cross boundaries. There are better ways to handle this than kicking a fan’s phone. This is just an aggressive man acting pompous.”
Another user, expressing frustration at the situation, wrote:
“This is why I can never act a fool when I see these so-called celebrities. I’ll just admire them from a distance because if they don’t snub you, they’ll act out.”
