[CELEBRITIES] Cardi B furious over critics’ disapproval of her shiniest qualities

No one gets away with criticising Cardi B, especially if the critics are going at the features she considers her best.

It all started when a user on X asked the 32-year-old rapper if she thinks she is a “perfect 10”. For context, a recent trend in pop culture has women rated according to numbers (10 being the highest). The typical parameters are all physical and hardly ever intellectual.

“You actually call yourself perfect 10?” the user wrote in reply to a post Cardi B made in which she opined that men are intimidated by women who make their own money and would rather date a 6 instead of a 10 as long as she can be controlled.

Replying the user, Cardi B listed out what she believes are her strongest qualities which include her pretty frame, face, hustler spirit, and ever-fragranced body. The rapper also did not forget to add that she considers herself a 10.She wrote:

“I didn’t… but I AM a pretty face, pretty frame, little feet, smell good, never have an odor—even when it’s that time of the month. I’m grippy, street smart, a hustler, rich AF, and a God-fearing woman. Baby, I can upgrade a man’s life and buy yours!! A perfect 10.”

A critic, who wasn’t a fan of the award-winning rapper’s self-praise, responded: “This was not the bar you thought it was, and I hate that for you.”

In response, Cardi fired back, stating that she doesn’t need anyone—man or woman—to define how she feels about herself:

“Naaaa, you bitches just hate when a girl loves herself, surgery or not. Look how mad y’all are at the TikTok girl that cooks. I don’t need a man or anyone to tell me how to feel about myself. I was snatching both genders even with messed-up teeth.”
