Following a busy 2024, Burna Boy is gearing up to close the year with a bang with the release of a new single that will soundtrack the Detty December festivities.
The Grammy winner previously teased the single with a post on his Twitter, which was later followed by a similar update from his longtime collaborator Telz, who produced several tracks on his Grammy-winning album Twice As Tall.
The single will mark Burna Boy’s second release of 2024 and serve as a follow-up to his Grammy-nominated track “Higher,” whose music video featured an emotional return to his hometown of Port Harcourt.
This new release caps off a record-breaking year for Burna Boy, who earlier became the first African artist to perform at the Grammys main ceremony, sharing the stage with rapper 21 Savage and R&B legend Brandy.
Among other historic achievements, he also set a new record for the highest-grossing concert by an African artist in both the United States and Canada.
“Bundle” is expected to be part of Burna Boy’s upcoming eighth album, rumored to be titled No Sign of Weakness, which is slated for release in 2025.
