Recently, Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, revealed what ignited her strong love for her husband, the acclaimed artist Adekunle Gold.
In a recent interview, the one-time mother of one said she was first drawn into her husband, Adekunle Gold, because of his fabulous graphic designing and photo editing skills. The award-winning singer appreciated Gold’s abilities, using as an example what he did to a photo of Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya recently.
After Tunde’s request on the X platform, Gold did a withdrawal of a water bottle from the image, and Simi, after getting the edited version, reposted it, captioning it: “This was why I fell for you. I don’t know who sent you to start singing.”
It is cogent to note that Adekunle Gold was an upcoming talented graphic artist before being signed into Olamide’s YBNL Nation record label; he was noticed initially when he designed the label’s logo, after which he got signed.
